Keep Driving Perth truly went above and beyond for me. After being involved in a four-car pileup and not being in the right frame of mind, they came to the rescue — they called me that same evening and dropped off a car the very next morning. They loaned me a vehicle for two months and I honestly would’ve been completely lost without it. The entire team is fantastic, incredibly supportive and genuinely caring.

Absolute top blokes, had the car dropped to me the day of my accident. Crystal clear communication throughout the whole process — big thankyou to Saxon in the office for looking after me and making it as hassle free as possible.

Absolutely amazing crew that made a stressful, confusing time of car accidents and write-offs so much easier and less stressful. Our loan car was clean, easy to drive and didn’t skip a beat. Big shout out to Cody who helped us more than he could ever know — ten stars!

Good to know

Common questions

What is an accident replacement vehicle?

A vehicle provided to you on a credit hire basis. If you’re not at fault, we can supply a replacement — equivalent or like your own — at no cost to you, so you have a car straight away while yours is repaired or until your claim is settled.

Who pays for the replacement vehicle?

If you’re the not-at-fault party you don’t pay the hire costs — Keep Driving takes on recovering them from the at-fault party. Provided you give us accurate, truthful information and follow the agreement, there’s no charge to you.

What rights do I have as a not-at-fault driver?

Your rights following a not-at-fault accident are covered under Australian Tort Law — you have a right to claim an accident replacement vehicle. We take on recovering the cost from the at-fault party, so you get back on the road with no out-of-pocket cost.

How long can I keep the vehicle?

For the duration of the repair period — or, if your car is written off, until you’ve received your settlement.

Will I need to pay for anything?

Only fuel. The hire costs are put on credit and recovered from the at-fault party. You remain responsible for any fines or parking infringements, and for extra cleaning or unacceptable wear and tear if the car isn’t returned as delivered. Business-registered vehicles pay the GST component (claimable on your BAS).

What information do you need to apply?

Your details (driver’s licence, car registration and insurance), the at-fault party’s details (their licence, registration and insurance), and details about the accident.

Do I need to provide a credit card?

Yes — your card details are taken at the time of hire as security for any costs you’re responsible for (fuel, infringements, cleaning, wear and tear, excess/damage, admin). We’ll always contact you before processing any payment.

Are there any restrictions to book a car?

You’ll need to hold a full, current driver’s licence, and we need the at-fault party’s details to provide a no-cost vehicle.

Do you cover regional areas?

We service Western Australia, and our main coverage is within roughly 100km of Perth. We can often help outside that area too — give us a call and we’ll let you know. We deliver to the accident scene, your repairer, home or workplace.

The at-fault insurer asked me to sign a release — is that OK?

Not without speaking to us first. Insurers sometimes ask you to sign a Deed of Release (or similar) that can waive your right to recover the hire costs. If you sign and we then can’t recover those costs, you could become liable for them — so please contact us before signing anything from the at-fault party or their insurer.

Why choose Keep Driving?

We’re Western Australian owned and operated and available 24/7, 365 days a year. We have a broad fleet so we can match you like-for-like, and we deliver quickly — to the accident scene, your repairer, home or workplace.
